Custody of the Blessed Sacrament, goldsmith ornamentation
The monstrance for the Blessed Sacrament is made of bronze ornamented with religious elements in relief.
The base is decorated with small cherubs interspersed with other types of reliefs.
The knot is traversed by fish.
The upper part of the Monstrance, the area where the glass case for the Blessed Sacrament is located, is decorated with the four symbols of the Evangelists:
- The Angel, symbol of Saint Matthew the Evangelist.
- The winged lion, symbol of Saint Mark the Evangelist.
- The winged bull, symbol of Saint Luke the Evangelist.
- The eagle, symbol of Saint John the Evangelist.
