Mass Tablecloth Embroidery

The tablecloth is embroidered on the front by three compositions. A central composition with the figure of the Virgen del Carmen and two adjacent compositions, one on each side, made up of intertwined roses and ears of wheat.

  • Embroidery of the Virgen del Carmen

The central embroidery of the Mass tablecloth is a classic representation of the Virgen del Carmen. Our Lady is dressed in a brown mantle and a cream-white dress. On his head he wears a crown and a halo with golden stars. In his left hand he carries a scapular of the Virgen del Carmen embroidered with gold and brown thread. With her left hand, the Virgen del Carmen holds Jesus. The Child is dressed in reddish pink and holds in his hands another scapular embroidered with a Cross and a Marian symbol in gold on a brown background.

  • Embroidery of the Virgen del Carmen

To the left and right of the central embroidery of the Virgen del Carmen there are two embroideries made up of liturgical and Marian elements. On the one hand, we can see the ears of wheat embroidered with golden thread, a liturgical element linked to the Body of Christ, and on the other hand, we can see roses embroidered with red thread, flowers related to the Virgen del Carmen.
