Christmas embroidery of the pall, corporal and purificator
The palia, corporal and purificator are gilded with lace all around and embroidered in gold thread.
The embroidery is Christmas themed. The portal of Bethlehem, the Star of Bethlehem, the Virgin Mary and the newborn Baby Jesus are presented.
The Star of Bethlehem, at the top of the embroidery, illuminates the Bethlehem portal with its rays. The star serves as a guide for the Three Wise Men who hasten their steps to present their gifts to the Child Jesus. Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar carry gold, frankincense and myrrh to worship the King of the Christians.
The Virgin Mary cradles the Child Jesus on her lap. God was born in Bethlehem!! Merry Christmas!!
