They have also been used by acolytes by numerous brotherhoods in Holy Week processions in Spain, although their use is not correct since they are typical vestments of ecclesiastical ministers of the degree immediately prior to the priesthood, that is, deacons.

Like other liturgical vestments, dalmatics are for sale in the four liturgical colors : green, purple, white and red. The meaning of each color will determine its use and will be used depending on the date within the liturgical calendar.

The price of the dalmatics will depend on whether they are embroidered or not. In case an embroidered dalmatic, its purchase price could be higher if the embroidery is very laborious.
